Heat treatment:AW-1050 is a non-heat-treatable alloy and is usually used in the soft condition (O).The alloy can be formed by cold working, such as rolling and bending, as well as by hot forming, such as pressing and forging. To improve surface properties, the alloy can be stress-relieved by annealing, for example at 300°C for 2 hours.
Applications:
AW-1050 is used in a wide range of applications across various industries, including:
Construction: roof and wall cladding, window and door frames, façade cladding
Electrical engineering: power lines, cable sheathing, capacitors
Household appliances: cookware, tableware, appliance housings
Packaging: foils, containers, lids
Transport: body components, train and aircraft cladding
