Melting point: 1400–1450°C
Thermal conductivity: 15–25 W/mK at 20°C
Electrical conductivity: 3% IACS at 20°C

Applications

Alloy 1.4301, also known as V2A or AISI 304, is widely used in the food industry, the chemical industry, and in the production of sanitary and heating systems. It is also suitable for architectural applications, especially for façades, railings, and window frames.

 Further applications include boiler and pressure vessel construction, apparatus engineering, pipeline construction, and the automotive industry.
