Corrosion resistance:

Alloy 1.4501 belongs to the group of super duplex stainless steels and offers excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. It is resistant to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion fatigue in seawater, acidic solutions, and chloride-containing media. The alloy is also characterized by good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
